Plumm x skttrd is a new London-based collaboration between vocalist and band leader Plumm and producer skttrd. Think New Order meets Massive Attack meets Macy Gray. Their genre-bending live electronic sets have been seen at Punchdrunk's Burnt City, Basket of Light and Kite Festival. Their debut single 'Absentee' has just been released on Pretty Decent Music. Trace-like delay on the vocals and kaleidoscopic synths transport you to a forest rave in the 90s, but the hard beat and dirty bass reflects the griminess of London's current sounds. Plumm's vocal is distinct in her deep and potent tone, she bellows the line, 'I'm out of my mind, I've closed the door behind, so leave me in peace, I have pain to release'.
